Festival History

Imagine jamming in Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae and bonding with thousands of people from all over the world. That’s the “Feel Good” vibe that is created every year during the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival.

launched in 1996 as an opportunity to blend world-class jazz and blues with Jamaica’s best reggae. And to expose these blessed sounds to people from Jamaica, the US and all over the world.

The Festival now views itself as the harbinger of a cross-cultural “Feel Good” mindset that crosses cultural bridges through “the Art of Music”, in an exotic Caribbean setting.

The Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival premiered in Jamaica in the fall of 1996. The inaugural festival attracted close to 10,000 people to hear top jazz, blues & reggae music from all over the world.

The 2002 festival attracted over 15,000 concert-goers, as did the 2003 festival and the 2004 festival

People from all over the world have already started to inquire and make their vacation plans around our Jazz & Blues festival. The 2005 Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival will be the best festival ever!

The site that hosts The Festival’s main event has no peer in the world! The 2005 festival will be held in Montego Bay, Jamaica, on the grounds of the Wyndham Rose Hall Resort’s Cinnamon Hill

Jazz & Blues Festival include George Benson, Erykah Badu, Kenny G, Gladys Knight, Ziggy Marley,
