When is the festival?
The 2005 Festival will be held from January 24- 29, 2005.
Where is the festival held ?
The Festival will be held along the north coast of Jamaica from
Negril to Ocho Rios with the main event in Montego Bay, on the
grounds of the Cinnamon Hill Golf Course at Rose Hall, Jamaica.
Who is performing at the 2005 festival?
This year’s lineup has yet to be finalized. Line up will be even
more exciting than 2004
Past festivals have featured such luminaries as
Alicia Keys, Kenny Rogers, India. Arie, Beres Hammond, Nancy
Wilson, Bobby Womack, Cassandra Wilson, Michael McDonald, Kenny
G.,
Gladys Knight, Mary J. Blige, The Buena Vista

Festival History
Imagine
jamming in Jamaica, the birthplace of reggae and bonding with
thousands of people from all over the world. That’s the “Feel
Good” vibe that is created every year during the Jamaica Jazz &
Blues Festival.
launched in 1996 as an opportunity to blend
world-class jazz and blues with Jamaica’s best reggae. And to
expose these blessed sounds to people from Jamaica, the US and
all over the world.
The Festival now views itself as the harbinger
of a cross-cultural “Feel Good” mindset that crosses cultural
bridges through “the Art of Music”, in an exotic Caribbean
setting.
The Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival premiered
in Jamaica in the fall of 1996. The inaugural festival attracted
close to 10,000 people to hear top jazz, blues & reggae music
from all over the world.
The 2002 festival attracted over 15,000
concert-goers, as did the 2003 festival and the 2004 festival
People from all over the world have already
started to inquire and make their vacation plans around our Jazz
& Blues festival. The 2005 Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival will be
the best festival ever!
The site that hosts The Festival’s main event
has no peer in the world! The 2005 festival will be held in
Montego Bay, Jamaica, on the grounds of the Wyndham Rose Hall
Resort’s Cinnamon Hill
Golf Course. The Festival guarantees to stir
your soul with incredible music, glorious sunsets and the
whitest sands imaginable! Some of the artists that have already
performed at the Air Jamaica
Jazz & Blues Festival include George Benson,
Erykah Badu, Kenny G, Gladys Knight, Ziggy Marley,
Branford Marsalis, Brian McKnight & Maxi Priest.
It’s a “Feel Good” event and with its diverse musical lineup
helps to bring the world a little bit closer together. The
Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival is a
“Feel Good” opportunity to enjoy the finest that
Jamaica has to offer and to experience the world’s finest jazz,
blues & reggae music in a unique locale. Simply put, it is a
“Feel Good” music festival in
Jamaica, where everyone who comes to Jamaica is
guaranteed to feel all right!

February 6 Bob Marley Birthday Celebrations (Jamaica)
A man that so moved people with his politics, his voice and
his music that he will be remembered on all continents, by
millions of people. His birthplace is the place to be for the
occasion.
February 20-25 Trinidad & Tobago Carnival
The granddaddy of all Caribbean carnivals and perhaps one of
the best parties of the year anywhere. Five days of hardcore
partying,and well worth the thrill. Imagine sharing the streets
with forty thousand other sequined, feathered revelers.

April 11-17 Jamaica Carnival
Reggae and Dancehall adds a distinctly Jamaican flavor to a
Carnival that seems to be picking up lots of steam in recent

April 12 Trelawny Yam Festival (Jamaica)
Sweet, creamy and delicious, the Yam is the star of the show
for this festival. The culture and heritage of "yam country" is
yours to discover.
